The warrantor warrants to the original purchaser that its Aluminum Alloy T5 components, including posts and gate frames, will be free from material defects in workmanship and materials under normal use and service conditions.
Warranty Period
Aluminum Alloy T5 Components (Posts & Gate Frames): 25 Years
The warranty period is 25 years from the original purchase date for both:
- Residential applications
- Commercial applications
Saltwater Proximity Clause
If aluminum components are installed within 500 feet of water or salt spray, the warranty period for the aluminum components is restricted to 2 years.
What the Warranty Covers
Under normal use and service conditions, covered Aluminum Alloy T5 components are warranted against:
- Structural failure
- Severe manufacturing defects
Coverage applies subject to the terms, conditions, and exclusions of this limited warranty.
Material-Only Coverage – No Installation
This warranty covers replacement of materials only.
The warrantor does not pay for and will not cover any costs associated with:
- Labor
- Installation
- Removal
- Reinstallation
- Freight
Any labor, installation, removal, reinstallation, or freight costs associated with replacing defective materials are not covered under this limited warranty.
Warranty Claims
If a defect is discovered during the applicable warranty period, the original purchaser must notify the warrantor in writing within 30 days of discovering the defect.
A warranty claim must include:
- Valid proof of purchase
- A detailed description of the alleged defect
After the warranty claim has been reviewed and validated, the warrantor may, at its sole discretion, replace the defective materials.
Warranty Exclusions
This limited warranty does not cover product failure, malfunction, or damage resulting from:
- Improper installation or failure to follow installation guidelines and local building codes, including improper gapping.
- Movement, distortion, or settling of the ground or supporting structure.
- Flooding, hurricanes, earthquakes, or other Acts of God.
- Environmental conditions, including air pollution, mold, or mildew.
- Staining caused by dirt, concrete dust, grease, oil, hard-water mineral deposits, or other foreign substances.
- Abuse, neglect, improper handling, or improper storage by the purchaser or third parties.
